HUST have given notice that it intends to co-opt Richard Clarke and Joanie Roberts to its Board. The Board believes their experience will greatly enhance its capabilities. Co-opted external directors serve until the next AGM.

Joanie Roberts, who lives in North Herefordshire, will be well known to purchasers of 50/50 tickets. On match days, she is a regular seller outside A Block. Joanie is a Business Relationship, Sales & Event Manager and believes she can offer advice to HUST on the marketing, fundraising and corporate sponsorship platforms.

Richard Clarke, who lives in Newent, is a season ticket holder attending matches with his 12-year old son, both home and away with other family members. He is a service manager and has returned to the UK from posts in New Zealand and USA. Richard would like to see HUST continue as a strong advocate for supporters and enhance the reputation of the city and the club.

The Board Co-option appointment is subject to HUST’s seven day appointment objection process which can be found on the HUST website.  Any current member who wishes to object to either appointment should contact the HUST chairman Richard Tomkins via the email address: Richard.Tomkins@hufctrust.co.uk before 5pm on Tuesday 20th June for consideration by the Board.
