The former Talking Bull fanzine co-editor and lifelong Hereford fan, Chris Jones, hopes to boost the HUST “Keep the Bulls Flying” fund-raising efforts by running at several events over the next five months.

Jones, now based near Leicester, continues to follow Hereford up-and-down the country when work commitments allow, and was quick to agree to raise funds in support of the HUST initiative.

“A few weeks ago, Joanie Roberts, from HUST got wind of the fact that I am taking part in some running events this year, and asked if I would like to raise funds for Keep The Bulls Flying. I didn’t need asking twice, and have already run the Lincoln 10k, while wearing a red Hereford FC top!

“This weekend I have the Great East Anglian Run in King’s Lynn – so the Hereford top is definitely going to be worn!”

Other events Chris has entered are the Liverpool half-marathon (26th May), Leeds 10k (7th July), York 10k (4th August), Great North Run (8th September) and Sheffield 10k (22nd September).
