The Hereford captain Josh Gowling acknowledged that today’s display by the Bulls’ team at Chester was unacceptable.

Indeed, only goalkeeper Brandon Hall and midfielder Simeon Maye came out of the match with any degree of positivity as individually Hereford were “flat” and unable to respond to the hosts up-tempo efforts.

Gowling accepted that Hereford were well beaten and now need to respond in front of a home crowd against Boston next Saturday.
