The influential Kieran Thomas insisted Hereford deserved at least a point from today’s pulsating match against promotion seeking Stockport County.

Thomas started the match in midfield, but a tactical switch saw him moved to right-back in the second period – a move that proved to be a positive one.  Hereford then began to win many more second-phase balls, and kept possession much better than their opponents in a classic game of two halves.
