The Hereford boss Russell Slade could not contain his disappointment as the Bulls exited the FA Trophy at the hands of King’s Lynn Town at Edgar Street.
Despite working hard to earn a replay at the Walks in a nil-nil draw on Saturday, Hereford somehow conspired to concede two goals inside the first 7 minutes.
Peter Vincenti had a great chance to pull a goal back from the penalty spot after being fouled by Michael Gash in the box at the beginning of the second half but saw his effort tipped round the post by ‘keeper Alex Street.
Finally Sonny Carey made the tie completely safe in the dying stages after substitute Ryan Hawkins strike was palmed out into his path.
