Hereford FC have moved quickly to replace their injured goalkeeper Brad Wade who battled through considerable pain to complete the match against Gloucester City at Edgar Street on Saturday.

Josh Gowling has brought in the 20-year-old Coventry City ‘keeper Cian Tyler on a month loan subject to the normal National League and FA protocol.

Tyler signed his first professional deal with the Sky Blues during the summer of 2020 earning himself a professional deal with the club after the towering ‘keeper impressed in the Under-18s.

Cian has also been recognised for his performances on the national scene, as he was called-up to the Wales Under-16s as a youngster.

The ‘keeper has also gained some first team experience by joining Barwell on loan in 2020.

Tyler regularly featured for Coventry U-23s during the 2020/21 season, as well as travelling to first team games to gain experience on a matchday with Mark Robins’ side.
