The Football Association have advised Hereford FC they will be taking “no further action” against either club in relation to the abandoned game at Didcot Town.

The game on Saturday, 4th March ended around 90 seconds early after Mike Symons had just scored what looked to be the Bulls’ winner at 2-1 but a handful of people encroached onto the pitch.

Last week Hereford Football Club served three club bans following the incident. These bans came into immediate effect. Details of what action the FA have decided to recommend has not yet emerged.

Furthermore, there has been no confirmation from the Southern League as to whether the match at Didcot will have to be replayed, or whether the result will stand.
