I am writing to express my support for the excellent proposal from HUST to have a fourth HUST director on the board. It’s a great idea, and seems totally fair to me. It has to happen!
I would also like to suggest that Rob Purdie could be the ideal person to be the fourth HUST director on the board. In Talking Bull 136, he said that he still hopes the club may ask one day, if he would like to be involved with the club off the pitch. Perhaps in the boardroom. So surely now is the time to ask him! He could help bring the fans, the board and HUST together.
If memory serves me right he’s a HUST member, so surely he would the ideal candidate. The fans respect him, the directors respect him. He’s played for our greatest ever manager and chairman, and his knowledge and wisdom would be a huge asset to the club. He has already rescued cats, so perhaps he can help rescue Bulls as well, and help us return to our glory days!
Great win tonight and a great start for Yan! Sad to see Josh go, and I feel very sorry for him, but a change was probably needed.
