Kidderminster Harriers have this afternoon revealed John Pemberton as their new manager.

Pemberton, 54, takes charge at Aggborough after agreeing a two-year contract, and will be assisted by Russ Penn.

After a playing career at Crewe, Crystal Palace, Sheffield United and Leeds the ex-defender has picked up coaching experience at Nottingham Forest, Bristol City and most recently Chesterfield.

Pemberton will be expected to build on the youth academy at Aggborough, continuing to progress players through to the first team.

Kidderminster missed out on a play-off position at the end of the 2018/19 Vanarama National Leage North season with budget cuts expected in many quarters.
