Hereford will face Tamworth in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round after the draw was made today.

The match is scheduled to take place at The Lamb Ground, Tamworth on Saturday 5 October with a 3pm kick-off, unless streamed or televised.

Tamworth are currently third in the BetVictor Southern Premier Division – Central table having won five of their opening 8 league games.

The Lambs have already beaten Nuneaton Borough 3-1, and Loughborough Dynamo 3-0 to reach the 3rd Qualifying Round stage.

The hosts average attendance is around 650, and with an influx of travelling Hereford supporters the club could attract their highest gate of the season which currently stands at 1,047 for the cup-tie against Nuneaton.

Bromsgrove Sporting are the only side to have beaten Tamworth so far, winning 3-1 at the Lamb Ground back on 13 August.

Winning clubs will receive £11,250 from the FA prize fund while losing clubs will collect £3,750.
