The Hereford striker Rowan Liburd was close to securing a hat-trick in the Bulls opening 4-0 friendly win over Wellington this afternoon.

Liburd bagged a brace of goals after coming on as a half-time substitute and also went close on a number of occasions, notably when a shot struck a post from an acute angle. However, he was delighted to have “got off the mark” quickly ahead of the 2019/20 Vanarama National League North season.
