In addition to announcing the new 2019/20 Edgar Street season-ticket and match-day prices today, Hereford Football Club say they will be moving to a new automated card system at the turnstiles. Fans will also be able to avoid queuing at the ticket booth on match-days as supporters will be able to print-off, or scan their own ticket details onto a mobile device, ahead of home matches next season.

Season-ticket holders will no longer be issued with a book, but instead a season-long card will enable holders to gain admittance via a scanner. This will be similar to that used by clubs like AFC Rushden & Diamonds.

Hereford will also be partnering with Flowte Sport enabling supporters to print off match-day tickets, or scan the details onto a mobile device at home, prior to the match. The system is already used in this country at clubs such as Newport County, Wycombe Wanderers, Carlisle United and Wrexham.

Full details of the new arrangements will be announced in due course.

Existing 2018/19 season ticket holders can retain their current seat provided they renew by Friday 28th June. To reserve the seat, fans will be asked to provide proof of their current seat at the time of purchase.

Season ticket renewals can be made via the club-shop only between 13th May and 1st July.

Early-Bird season ticket offers will be available online only between 3rd June and 7th June, and then both online and via the club shop between 7th June and 1st July.

The general sale of season-tickets without an early-bird discount will commence from 1st July, both online and via the club shop.

Hereford FC initially outlined a £1 discount for those supporters who purchased matchday tickets on-line and then printed their tickets at home, that idea has now been shelved.
