Following their 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Altrincham this afternoon the Sandgrounders bowed out of the FA Cup at the 4th Qualifying Round stage meaning the Bulls can make the trip to Haig Avenue this coming Tuesday evening.

Southport currently lie 12th in the table, two points behind Hereford having lost only once at home in the Vanarama National League North this season.

The Hereford boss Russell Slade will be hoping his side can maintain pressure on the sides currently in the play-off positions. Indeed, the Bulls could lift themselves up into 5th place should they gain victory on Tuesday.
