The experienced Stephen Dawson made his Hereford debut in a 3-2 reverse at Southport but says he is delighted to have joined the club.

Dawson was bewildered by a refereeing decision not to allow a cracking 35 yard strike to stand, instead calling the game back to the halfway line for a handball free-kick award.

The determined midfielder aims to drive Hereford up the table in the coming weeks.
