The Hereford boss Russell Slade was “gutted” by the loss to Tamworth in the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round replay at Edgar Street.

However, the Bulls manager thought he would find out more about players within the Hereford squad over the next 5 days than he had learnt over the last 5 weeks. He is already looking ahead to the trip to Bradford on Saturday.

The Bulls penalty shoot-out defeat was galling. Especially as they had carved out some excellent opportunities in the first half, and but for some excellent saves by the Tamworth keeper Jas Singh, Hereford would have won the reply inside the opening 45 minutes.
